Terms & Conditions | Moments Dress Collective

Welcome to Moments Dress Collective — thank you for choosing us for your special occasion.
By booking or hiring a garment through our website, you agree to the following Terms and Conditions.
Please read carefully before completing your hire.


1. Bookings & Payments

All bookings are confirmed once payment is received in full.
A security deposit is required at the time of booking, which is refunded once the dress is returned on time and in its original condition.
Your hire fee includes the garment hire period, cleaning, and any applicable shipping fees.


2. Cancellations & Refunds

We understand that plans can change!

  • Cancellations made more than 2 weeks before the hire date are eligible for a full refund.

  • Cancellations made within 2 weeks of the hire date are non-refundable.

  • If your event is cancelled or postponed, we can issue a store credit (subject to availability and notice period).

Refunds and credits are processed via your original payment method.


3. Postal Hire

We offer Australia-wide express postage for your convenience.
Your hire will be dispatched prior to your event date and must be returned the next business day after your event using the prepaid return satchel provided.
Moments Dress Collective is not responsible for postal or courier delays once your parcel has been dispatched.


4. Pick Up & Drop Off

Local customers can choose pick-up and drop-off from our designated location (details provided after booking).
Please ensure garments are returned by 12pm on your agreed return date.
Late returns will incur additional fees (see below).


5. Cleaning & Care

We handle all professional cleaning — please do not attempt to wash or spot-clean the garment yourself.
Take care when wearing your dress and avoid contact with makeup, fake tan, perfume, or accessories that may cause pulls or marks.


6. Damage, Loss & Replacement

You are responsible for the garment from the time it leaves Moments Dress Collective until it is safely returned.

  • Minor wear will be assessed and may incur a small repair fee.

  • Significant damage, theft, or loss will result in the full replacement cost (RRP) being charged.
    Your security deposit may be used to cover any repair or replacement costs.


7. Late Returns

To ensure all customers enjoy a smooth hire experience, garments must be returned or posted on time.

  • Late returns will incur a $30 per day fee.

  • Garments not returned within 7 days will be deemed lost, and the full replacement cost (RRP) will be charged.


8. Fit & Sizing

Please refer to the sizing information provided before booking.
We do not offer refunds for change of mind or incorrect sizing.
If you’re unsure about fit, feel free to reach out — we’re happy to help you find the perfect style.


9. Ownership

All garments remain the exclusive property of Moments Dress Collective.
Customers are granted temporary possession for the agreed hire period only.


10. Liability

Moments Dress Collective is not responsible for any injury, loss, or damage occurring while wearing or handling our garments.
By hiring from us, you accept full responsibility for the garment during your hire period.


11. Agreement

By completing your booking, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms and Conditions.
